Description

The nephrops trawl catch data layer shows a heatmap of the quantity of fish caught by the nephrops trawl fleet.

Nephrops trawls use low demersal nets that they tow on the seabed, with the mouth held open by a pair of otter boards (trawl doors) designed to target nephrops (seafish, n.d.).

Heymans (European Marine Board).
