Description

Decapods are crustacean with 10 feet of legs such as prawns and lobsters. Other organisms (e.g. squid) can also be clasified as mollusk decapods if they have 10 feet or legs (fishbase n.d.).

Data Source

Decapod, invasive decapod and shrimp are month-by-month, computer generated data layers following calculations made by the ecosystem simulation (EwE). The simplified EwE Eastern Mediterranean model was adjusted for use in the MSP Challenge by Eyal Ofir.
