Marine Protected Areas are a globally recognised tool to manage and enhance marine ecosystems (European Environment Agency, 2018).
Within the MSP Challenge Simulation Platform it is possible to edit, add or remove Marine Protected Areas. While editing Marine Protected areas, users can select the option to also change the fishing effort of one or more fleets within the sea basin.
