Bottom disturbance is a month-by-month, computer generated data layer, based on any of the following human activities:
- Anchorages
- Sand and Gravel Extraction
- Oil & Gas Installations
- Dumping Areas designated as Open
- Cables (Electricity and Telecom) during construction
- Pipelines during construction mostly
- Tidal farms during construction
- Wave farms during construction
- Wind farms during construction
- Military Areas designated as Ammunition Dump
